With Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner, I’m looking forward to extra time with my family, and many of my students are looking forward to school breaks. For parents who have some time to practice reading with their kids in the upcoming weeks, I want to share a few resources.
First off, here are the blogs I most often go to when I’m looking for extra phonics games and activities. If you start exploring these blogs, you’re bound to find printables that align with your child’s current phonics concepts.

I also love to make my own games for my students whenever I have the time! I’ve added a few of these to my Teachers Pay Teachers page so others can download and use these games for free. I just added two holiday-themed sets of games for this season. Check them out and let me know what you think!
